Introduction

A developed nation is one that gives great importance to the Arts and in the 

recent years our country has showed a tremendous growth in the field. 

Symbols Art Club, formed in 2009 assists and guides art students, artists and 

art enthusiasts, allowing them to come together and contribute towards the 

growth of visual art amongst the Malaysian community.

Through the many activities and events held, the club hopes to play a bigger 

role in the Malaysian art scene, allowing new budding artists to make a mark 

for themselves.

This is the second exhibition by the club and we are fortunate to showcase 

our works in collaboration with Alliance Francaise de Kuala Lumpur. In this 

exhibition nineteen members of the art club are showcasing their works 

under the theme “Voices of Nature”.

Aiming  to showcase the versatility of our artists and their varied approach to 

art, we assure you that this would be an interesting show as each artist have 

expressed their views in a unique way.

The theme “Voices of Nature” were chosen in line with the global warming 

issues and we hope that this exhibition would be a platform to

create awareness amongst our viewers.
